Every now and then you meet someone during a photo session that just inspires you to give back.   That was the case when I created a family portrait for the young lady below.    I don’t treat the people I photograph as clients, i treat them like friends.  I like to talk to them and get to know them.    During this particular session, I learned that this beautiful 17 year old girl was going to be shaving her head ina  few days to raise money for cancer.  I was simply shocked that someone so young would make such a sacrifice.   I asked her to come back a week later so that I could create a before and after set of images for her.

This is the second time that I have had a chance to photograph this adorable little boy!   I hope you enjoy this photo as much as his parents did!

It had been many many years since the Lake family was all in the same place and time and they thought it would be a great idea to get a Family Christmas photo.   Now they have beautiful images that they can treasure for years to come.    During the session we captured many different combinations with different family members, but I wanted to share just a couple of my favorites.   Huge thanks to the Lake Family for being so easy going and fun to photograph!

Lise contacted me about getting a family photo while her daughter was in town for Thanksgiving weekend, and I was very happy to be able to provide them with some beautiful images that they will be able to cherish forever!  You guys were great, thanks!

I recently had the occasion to capture an absolutely incredible little boy!    I treasure the time I was able to spend with him and his mother.   It is this type of session that really fuels my passion to create beautiful memories that  both Mother and Son will treasure for a lifetime!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of creating some images of the beautiful Simpson Family!  Their living room had lots of natural light, so I setup some some minimal fill and worked with the great light we already had in the room.    I know the family was thrilled with the results of the shoot and I hope you enjoy them as well.

I have known the Bruneau family for more years than they probably care to admit and we have tried to make our schedules match up for the better part of 3 months before we finally were able to get together for a family portrait.   I guess thats what happens when you have 3 kids!!!
