On tuesday of last week, I put out a call on Facebook looking for a model and Carly was the first to respond!   Carly and her family have known my family for quite some time so it was nice to get together and create some amazing images!

Today was a very special day for me.  I was asked to be by cousin Brandy’s Godfather and today was her Baptism.   And of course, after the ceremony I wanted to create a few images to create lasting memories.

She was such a good girl throughout the ceremony, only crying out for her bottle a couple times.   I am not sure if I prefer the colour version or the B&W version, so I decided to post both.   Please let me know which one you prefer!

It was a special day for Brandy’s older sister, Brianna too.   Brianna loves to hold and kiss her little sister and for me this is my favorite image of the day.

I thought that a copy of the certificate with the candle would make a nice keepsake as well!

After seeing the recent news about the tragedies in Haiti and Chilie, it really made me think back to my visit to Ecuador.  Today I want to share a couple more images from that amazing trip.

This first image is of a beautiful church that is right across the street from the Iguana park.

If you ever wondered what it looks like when you line up about 400 wheelchairs, just look at this image.

Some of the children we saw in Ecuador really touched our hearts.   When I saw the way the natural light was comming acrros this boys face and leaving part of him in shadow, it really touched me.  To me, it was a metaphor for how the poor in this country are partially seen, but yet so much of the poverty is also hidden in shadow.

My friend Rajeev needed a nice head shot while I was visiting him in Toronto recently.   We only had a little bit of time so we just setup in the hotel room with a view of downtown Toronto as our background.  

Today I want to share a couple of my favorite images from Ecuador.   The waterfall was taken on the outskirts of Cuenca, way up in the mountains.  It was such a breathtaking view, I was really happy that the image turned out so well.

The image below was taken while on the bus riding up into the mountains.  The 5 hour trip provided us with beautiful scenery, the next more breathtaking than the previous.
